The Orlando Magic's journey through the 1990s was a thrilling mix of success, cultural impact, and inevitable disappointment. Founded as an expansion team in 1989, the Magic quickly took the spotlight after selecting Shaquille O'Neal in the 1992 draft and acquiring Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway in a 1993 trade. With Shaq's dominance and Penny's spectacular skills, Orlando became a true NBA sensation, culminating in a 1995 NBA Finals appearance after defeating Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls, only to fall to the Houston Rockets in a painful sweep.
Off the court, the Magic embodied the spirit of the '90s: Shaq's larger-than-life charisma, the "Lil' Penny" ad campaign, and those iconic vertical-striped uniforms. Orlando wasn't just winning games, it was shaping NBA pop culture. But in 1996, everything changed: Shaq's unexpected departure to the Lakers, spurred by contract disputes and a sense of underappreciation, shattered the team's title dreams. Penny attempted to carry the team, but injuries and locker room tensions, including the firing of coach Brian Hill, led to a slow decline.
By the end of the decade, the Magic dynasty was already over. Yet memories remain of the backboard-shaking dunks, the wild locker room stories, and the energy of a young team that electrified the NBA. The Orlando Magic of the 1990s are remembered not just for their victories, but for the energy, style, and legacy of "what ifs" they left behind.

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.
Shipping is free for orders over €100 in Italy and EU countries (zones 1-2) , while in other cases the costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
