Vintage programming/tech T-shirt featuring the iconic Borland C++ 4.0 wave logo and the pun "try {throw} and catch the wave," printed on both the front and back. A rare 1990s piece for developers, programmers, and vintage software collectors.
STORY TIME
In 1993, a program called Borland C++ 4.0 changed the way people built Windows software. At the time, most programmers still worked in plain text environments, without color, without windows, without drag-and-drop. Then Borland came along and modernized everything. This new version allowed developers to create complete Windows applications with visual tools, automatic code generators, and intelligent features that saved a lot of time. It even helped catch errors before they happened!
For many, it was the first time programming felt elegant and professional—almost like magic. It even had a surfing-themed slogan: “try { throw } and catch the wave.” A playful reference to the programming language, but also a message: don't fear the future, ride it. Borland C++ 4.0 didn't stay on top forever—Microsoft quickly caught up—but it left a significant legacy. Many of the tools and ideas introduced then are still part of how applications are developed today.

- Fair : with obvious wear and visible defects shown in the photos.
Since they are vintage items, they may still have small imperfections or signs of wear that are not always shown.

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.
Shipping is free for orders over €100 in Italy and EU countries (zones 1-2) , while in other cases the costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days of delivery . Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and as described in the listing.
- Returns must be requested in advance via email or the contact details indicated on the dedicated page;
- The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt and verification of the package , and is made net of shipping costs ;
- Unauthorized returns will not be refunded.
