Vintage 1994 American Civil Liberties Union tee reading “The Voice of Liberty”. The front has a large collage of the Statue of Liberty broken into panels: the torch on a gray background, the raised arm, the crowned face on red, blue and green blocks. It is a multicolor screen print with a halftone effect. The back reads “Torch Songs for Freedom 1925-1994”, a timeline of the landmark cases in which the ACLU challenged laws and government actions, from the 1925 Scopes Trial to Loving v. Virginia and Lee v. Weisman in 1992.
The blank is a white Fruit of the Loom in 100% preshrunk cotton, Made in USA, with a wide ribbed collar and set-in sleeves. The original period Fruit of the Loom tag is still there. There is a small mark on the front under the graphic, visible in the photos.
A piece of American civil rights history, with an art graphic far more refined than the usual promo tee. The list of cases on the back makes it a collectible for anyone who loves political graphics and ’90s Americana.

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.
Shipping is free for orders over €100 in Italy and EU countries (zones 1-2) , while in other cases the costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days of delivery . Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and as described in the listing.
