Original vintage early-’80s tee featuring Sylvester, with the multicolor “Scrumptious” graphic. The print clearly reads “TM and © Warner Bros. Inc. 1980”: together with the Anvil Made in USA tag, the 100% cotton fabric and the single stitch sleeves and hem, this places production fairly confidently between about 1980 and 1983.
The graphic appears to be a multicolor screen print, as the ink has the texture typical of vintage prints applied directly to the fabric. The colors are very well preserved, with classic American construction of the period, a ribbed crew neck and a vintage fit.
A very interesting piece for collectors of Looney Tunes, Warner Bros. and ’80s American graphic tees, especially thanks to the 1980 date printed right on the graphic.
