STORY TIME
The 1994 Indianapolis 500 wasn't just a race, it was a turning point for American motorsports. Held every May in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indy 500 is one of the most famous auto races in the world.
In 1994, Penske Racing brought a secret weapon to the track: a special Mercedes-Benz engine nicknamed "The Beast." It exploited a loophole in the regulations and was so powerful it left the other cars behind. Emerson Fittipaldi, one of Penske's top drivers, led most of the race. But in a dramatic turn of events, he crashed near the end while trying to pass his teammate. This handed the victory to Al Unser Jr., who held the lead until the endβdespite a late crash that forced an early end to the race.
That race marked Mario Andretti's last Indy 500, the consecration of young star Jacques Villeneuve, and a unique feat for John Andretti, who raced here and then flew immediately afterward to participate in another major race on the same day. After that race, the rulebook was rewritten: the Penske engine was banned forever, and the 1994 Indy 500 became famous as the last time a team managed to "beat the system" so completely. Even if you've never seen a race, this was an epic race: fast, dramatic, and full of legends. π

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days of delivery . Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and as described in the listing.
