What cookies are
Cookies are small files the site saves in your browser. We also use similar tools (browser local storage, pixels and third-party scripts). On this page we call them all “cookies”.
Your consent
On your first visit we show you a banner. Technical cookies are always on because the store can’t work without them (cart, language, currency, security). Analytics and marketing cookies are only turned on if you accept them: if you decline or close the banner, they stay off. Declining doesn’t stop you from browsing and shopping.
You can change your choice at any time: Manage cookie preferences. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Other services on the site
- Virtual assistant (Microsoft Clarity Brand Agents) – Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. It’s an AI-powered assistant that answers questions about our products. If you write to it, your messages are processed by Microsoft to generate the reply. When you open the assistant it saves a few technical cookies of its own, needed to run the chat and remember the conversation; if you don’t open it, it saves none. Replies are generated automatically and may contain mistakes: for orders, returns and important requests, email us at info@gridgarments.com. Don’t enter sensitive information or payment details in the chat.
- Trustpilot – Trustpilot A/S, Denmark. Shows the store’s reviews. After a purchase we share your name, email and order number with Trustpilot to invite you to leave a review (legitimate interest); you can ignore the invitation or ask us not to send any.
- Reviews from other platforms: some reviews are loaded from a file published on GitHub (GitHub Inc.). Your browser downloads it like any ordinary image or file: no cookies are saved.
- Shop Pay, PayPal and other payment methods: they use their own technical cookies at checkout to complete the payment securely.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Shopify, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Pinterest) belong to groups based in the United States and may transfer data there. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which these providers have joined, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by law (art. 2220 Italian Civil Code).
- Other order data (contact details, shipping address, notes) and customer service requests: 26 months, the length of the legal guarantee of conformity (2 years plus 2 months to report a defect).
- Customer account: for as long as you keep it active; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe (link at the bottom of every email).
- Cookies: for the duration shown in the table above.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by emailing info@gridgarments.com. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” link above; withdrawing doesn’t affect anything done before. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
