STORY TIME
Since 1911, nestled in the woods of Twin Lake, Michigan, Owasippe has welcomed generations of Scouts with a spirit of adventure, community, and tradition. What began as a 120-acre wilderness area became the oldest continuously operating Scout camp in the United States, a true piece of American Scouting's living history.
The first campers crossed Lake Michigan by steamer and reached the camp on foot, carrying their tents. They themselves helped build it from the ground up, naming it after a legendary Potawatomi chief: Owasippe. Through both prosperous and difficult times, from the Great Depression to World War II, the camp never closed.
By the 1970s, Owasippe had grown into a 15,000-acre reservation, capable of housing tens of thousands of boys each summer. Subcamps like Blackhawk, Wolverine, and Reneker became places of campfire storytelling, merit badges, horseback riding, and the unforgettable legend of Chief Owasippe.
Significant inclusion milestones followed, from welcoming the first female Scout group in 1974 to co-ed adventure experiences. Even when Scouting numbers declined and some areas of the camp were closed, the spirit of Owasippe remained alive. In the 2000s, the proposed sale of the land sparked strong resistance: former scouts, local residents, and staff mobilized to save it. In 2008, the battle was won.

- Fair : with obvious wear and visible defects shown in the photos.
Since they are vintage items, they may still have small imperfections or signs of wear that are not always shown.

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.
Shipping is free for orders over €100 in Italy and EU countries (zones 1-2) , while in other cases the costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days of delivery . Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and as described in the listing.

- The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt and verification of the package , and is made net of shipping costs ;
