STORY TIME
Meet Trapeze: the spreadsheet that thought like a designer. Released in 1987, the Trapeze Integrated Presentation Worksheet for Macintosh was a bold, fascinating reinvention of how data could look and work. At a time when spreadsheets like Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel relied on rigid grids (A1, B2, etc.), Trapeze let you lay out data, charts, text and drawings freely on a page, more like a presentation than a spreadsheet. No cell references, no formulas to drag down entire rows. Just named blocks of data (“Sales,” “Costs”) that updated automatically, with live charts right beside them. You could zoom out to a layout of 40×40 pages and build complex, dynamic, visually polished reports. It supported advanced calculations, matrix functions and even charts and text annotations right on the canvas. Basically a cross between Apple Numbers and PowerPoint… back in 1987.
But Trapeze was too far ahead of its time. Even though tech reviewers liked it, many users found it unfamiliar. It lacked macros, it confused spreadsheet veterans and, despite being faster than Excel at some tasks, it quietly disappeared in 1989. Very few screenshots remain. Yet its legacy lives on: Trapeze anticipated modern BI dashboards, WYSIWYG interfaces and data storytelling decades before those terms even existed.

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and entrusted to the most suitable courier based on the destination and type of package.
Shipping is free for orders over €100 in Italy and EU countries (zones 1-2) , while in other cases the costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
