Original 1974 Spanish souvenir tee with a “Wellcome to Spain” screen print showing a caricature of the Guardia Civil, made during the last year of Francisco Franco’s dictatorship. The design blends tourist imagery with the political symbolism of the time.
Made from light white cotton jersey, with the short, slim fit typical of ’70s tees, a thin ribbed collar and simple vintage construction. Screen printed, with ink slightly softened by time but still clearly legible and very graphic.
